A successful specimen is not created by one dramatic lift. It is the result of disciplined decisions made in sequence.

Project intake

Cultivar, quantity, clear-trunk range, finish, destination, access and schedule define the sourcing brief.

Field selection

Each palm is assessed for form, health, trunk character, crown condition and fit for the intended composition.

Crown preparation

Only the fronds required for safe handling are removed. The terminal bud and healthy canopy remain protected.

Root-ball formation

A disciplined root ball preserves functional roots while creating a stable, liftable package for the journey.

Diamond cutting

Skilled trunk finishing creates the architectural diamond pattern without carving into living trunk tissue.

Harvest and lift

Correct equipment, balanced rigging and controlled movement protect the trunk, root ball and crown.

Load planning

Palm sequence, axle weight, clearance, securement and unload order are established before departure.

Arrival and recovery

The receiving site is ready before the truck arrives. Grade, backfill, water, stabilization and monitoring begin immediately.

FINISHED BY HAND

The diamond is revealed—not carved into living tissue.

After controlled extraction, skilled crews remove retained leaf bases one cut at a time. The result is a consistent architectural finish while protecting the trunk and the years of growth behind it.
